Not too long ago (when I was in high school) I came up with a space story about 2 characters, a cocky galactic policeman (Rocket Cosmo) and his robot partner (a name I can't remember). I wanted to get back to that story and setting but with a larger cast, some cool hip humor and action mixed with influences from the 60s, 70s and cowboy movies.
This may sound familiar as it probably has been done before but I love this type of stuff.
Presenting here is Commander Aurora and Captain Santiago. (Redesigned Aurora's costume to be more 60-70ish and changed her name).
Made and painted by hand, enhanced in PS Anyways, too much talk... Enjoy!
cool that's so retro funky sci fi tastic! *daydreams about 70's funk music blasting out a space-Lowrider* The guns don't fit in though...should be 1950's -60's raygun heheh but then again i don't know the storyline or your concept so i'll leave it at that! Good work!
I've been trying to look at sci fi and clothes from the 60s and 70s you know? giant metal robots, space invaders and stuff like that as I was born in the mid 80s so I need some source material to work on.
Your right about the guns not fitting I guess I should look into that, I'm trying to make like an alternate future where everything from those time periods remained but it kept advancing into space.
Thanks again for the comment always appreciate descriptive ones
